= **V-BOX interface description** =

**Power interface:** DC24V power input interface.

* Please ground during use(especially S and E series) to prevent hardware from being burned due to interference. If the vbox is installed in an electric control cabinet, make sure that the electric control cabinet is also grounded.

**9-pin COM port:** used to communicate with various PLC brands, servos, single-chip Microcomputer, instruments and meters on the market, and supports RS232/RS422/RS485. For specific interface definitions, please refer to the "V-Box Pin Definition" chapter.

**Ethernet port:** It can be used to connect to the network and communicate with HMI, various PLC brands, servos, single-chip Microcomputer, instruments and other equipment.

**Antenna interface:** 4G, WIFI antenna interface, used to enhance the signal.

**IO contacts:** H series comes standard with 2 relay outputs (DO) and 2 optocoupler isolation inputs (DI).

**USB MINI interface:** used for configuration debugging and Box configuration download.

**Indicator light:**

* **Signal indicator:** Except the P/R, NET, LINK, COM led light on right side, those 4 signal lights on the left side used to indicate the signal strength of WiFi/4G.
** Signal strength value of WiFi can be viewed by the internal register HSW146
** Signal strength value of 4G can be viewed by the internal register HSW166
** There are some different display for signal lights means V-Box connection on different status:
*** **4 signal lights are keep off**: Not recognize SIM card yet;
*** **Signal light 1 (Counting from top to bottom) is blinking**: SIM card status abnormal or signal abnormal;
*** **4 signal lights are blinking at the same time**: Not able to connect with 4G base station;
*** **Signal light(s) is/are keep on** which means the connection is OK;
* **P/R light:** V-Box operation indicator, this light flashes when V-Box is operating normally.Otherwise,V-Box firmware do not run well.
* **NET ligh**t: network communication indicator. When the V-Box communicates with other devices through the network, this light flashes.
* **LINK light:** server connection indicator.
** When the V-BOX is not connected to the network, this light is off;
** When the V-BOX's network connection is normal, but not connected to the server, this light flashes;
** When the V-BOX's network connection is normal and the server is successfully connected, this light is always on.
* **COM light:** serial port communication indicator. When the V-BOX communicates with other devices through the serial port, this light flashes.

**✎Note: **4G signal ranges from 0-31 (Greater than 20 represents signal is good)
WiFi signal ranges from 0-100 (Greater than 80 represents signal is good)

**IO interface:**

* Xn: Switch signal input terminal, with optocoupler isolation input.
* Yn: Switch signal output terminal, relay output.
* S/S: Input mode selection terminal, S/S connected with 24V+ means supporting NPN input mode; S/S connected with 24V- means supporting PNP input mode.
* COM:Output common.

**RS485 communication terminal**

* A+: RS485+ terminal.
* B-: RS485- terminal.
* GND: Common ground terminal of RS485 terminal.
