How to use ecam function to cut thick material?
As shown in the figure below, when cutting with the flying cutting function, due to the large thickness of the material, the cutting surface will not be smooth enough. (The horizontal component of the speed of the slave axis is different from the speed of the master axis in the synchronous zone)
First of all, using the chasing and shearing function can perfectly solve the problem of different speeds in the sync zone.
If the slave axis cannot perform reciprocating operation due to mechanical structure, user can use custom curves to divide the synchronization area into multiple angles, and calculate different slave axis speeds in each angle, so that the horizontal speeds of the cutting axis and the feeding axis are approximately the same in the entire synchronization area.
As shown in the figure above, calculate the feeding length of the main shaft at each angle, and calculate the different speeds of the cutting axis according to the different times corresponding to different lengths. The details of custom curve shown in the link below:
