Method 1: Refer to the comparison in the table below.

Method 2: Use a formula for the calculation.

Given:
Output power: Pout 

Input voltage: Uin 

Efficiency: η=0.7

Power factor PF=0.8

For example:

The VD2-014SA1G driver is used in conjunction with the WD80M-10030S-A1G motor.

Output power: Pout  =1000 W

Input voltage: Uin  =220V

Efficiency: η=0.7

Power factor PF=0.8

If you need the maximum current value for the servo drive to select a circuit breaker, multiply the obtained current value by 1.5 to prevent the circuit breaker from tripping mistakenly.
