Compatibility issues

Misreported virus of antivirus software:

1. When installing and running the software, it may be intercepted by antivirus software.

2. When the program runs, it needs to use some sensitive operations, such as writing Windows registry, etc. These operations can be recognized by antivirus software as not allowed operation, so that it is intercepted;

3.Please close the antivirus software to run this software, or add the Client software to white list.

The problem will be continue followed up and investigated.

Virtual deployment function in the neutral software

1. In this version, neutral software needs to import a certificate to be used normally, and the software provides a neutral general certificate.

2. The certificate is incompatible with that exported by software “V-NET Access”, and the certificate needs to be downloaded again in virtual administrator account.

3. Update the neutral general certificate to "IIoT Client Universal Neutral Certificate_231025. ce”. For the customer who exported the certificate before November 2023, please download the certificate in the virtual administrator account again, and then used this software.

Precautions

• The remote download function in V-NET Access is transferred to the device pass-through function in V-Net Client.
• Single sign-on problem: The account only supports single sign-on on V-NET/neutral software, so two computers cannot log in the same account to use VPN pass-through at the same time.

• If the pop up prompt "wpcap.dll was not found" when you open the software, please find "npcap-1. 71. exe" in the installation directory. Enable the option "Install Npcap in WinPcap API-compatible Mode" when installing;
