Bugs fixed

PC Client

• Crash problem caused by directly using software to upgrade firmware for old device before the year of 2020.

  AB Micro 850 protocol cannot import the tag file correctly.

V-BOX Firmware

• Abnormal data flow consumption of the V-BOX;

• MQTT connection of Lua script will directly transfer the URL to IP;

• Abnormal problems may occur when the V-BOX is reconnected;

• V-BOX does not display the IP and signal values of the 4G card;

• The sampling time of Historical data is more than 2592 seconds without reporting;

• Wi-Fi cannot connect network when setting static IP;

• The error code 6003 may be happened when the V-BOX connect to WVPN;

New functions added

• Reconstruct the software UI and optimize the software layout and interaction mode;

• Integrate the original V-NET Access software, ＷVPN Client tool and OPC tool;

• Switch language;

• ARP scanning function: All available devices(MAC address and IP) in same segment of LAN can be scanned;

• Cache clearing function, no longer needs to delete CEF cache files manually;

• Integrate the Pass-through function of devices;

• Save login password;

Notice

Compatibility issues

• Misreported virus of antivirus software:

1. When installing and running the software, it may be intercepted by antivirus software;

2. When the program runs, it needs to use some sensitive operations, such as writing Windows registry, etc. These operations can be recognized by antivirus software as not allowed operation, so that it is intercepted;

3. Please close the antivirus software to run this software at present, or add the Client software to white list;

4. The problem will be continue followed up and investigated;

Precautions

• The remote download function of V-NET Access software is transferred to the device pass-through function of V-Net Client software

• Single sign-on problem: The account only supports single sign-on on V-NET, so two computers cannot log in the same account at the same time;

• If the pop up prompt "wpcap.dll was not found" when you open the software, please find "npcap-1. 71. exe" in the installation directory. Enable the option "Install Npcap in WinPcap API-compatible Mode" when installing;

• If the pop up prompt "The application was unable to start(0xc000007b)" when you open the software, please also install "npcap-1. 71. exe";

V-Box Firmware

• Bug fixed: Some H-SG cannot use 4G normally after upgrades;
• Optimize the firmware update method;

PC Client

• Bug fixed: Ethernet pass through cannot be used;
• Bug fixed: For the trigger type collection of device communication addresses, the data collected for the first time may be offline state;
• Bug fixed: 4G ICCID reporting error;
• Bug fixed: When RTC backup power supply is insufficient, the timestamp of historical data uploading is inaccurate;
• Bug fixed: On OpenCloud mode, the collected value of the string type address is empty;
• Bug fixed: Longitude and latitude positioning may be inaccurate;
• When download the Network configuration, the software would not ask firmware updates anymore (Suggest update the firmware through Ethernet);
• Monitoring tag reset function;

Important Reminder

If the firmware version in V-Box is old (earlier than 1.21061701), and directly use the lastest release version (Release Build 2022-06-28 V2.3.38) of V-NET Access to upgrade, there will be an exception of "update failed" or "unrecognized device after update". Please use the release version 20210617(Release Build 2021-06-17 V2.2.94) to update first, and then use the lastest one to upgrade.
