Common causes of failure

Protective faults generated after the output current is greater than the rated current during the operation of the inverter and the accumulated time reaches the limit time of the inverter such as: G model: 150% rated current 60S,180% rated current 1S.

  • The load is too heavy or locked rotor occurs on motor.
  • The AC Drive model is of too small power.

Solution

1. Inverter parameter setting

  • Change F4.01 (according to the different nature of the load to reduce or change larger).
  • Adopt vector control (F0.00 change to 0), open loop vector is usually suitable for high performance control occasions, but please note that one inverter can only drive one motor.

2. External troubleshooting methods

  • Determine whether the motor power and inverter power are matched and whether the selection is correct.
  • Check for correct star/delta connection of the motor
  • Use a multimeter to check whether the three-phase voltages on the output side of the inverter and the motor side are balanced:

No-load output voltage imbalance of inverter may be caused by internal damage (contact us).

If the output voltage of inverter is balanced, but the voltage on the motor side is unbalanced, there may be a hidden danger of false connection of cables.

  • Check whether the motor is abnormally hot, whether the inverter running current is too high, and if so, whether the load is too heavy. Check the mechanical problem of the load, whether it is blocked.
  • Check the inverter there may be false alarms: Let the motor load in the no-load state running inverter, with the clamp current meter side measure inverter output current and inverter display output current for comparison, if the gap is relatively large may be inverter current detection failure.
