Common causes of failure
After the inverter starts operation, the output current is detected to be more than ten times the value of the comparison between the largest phase and the smallest phase.
- Motor abnormality
- The lead from the AC drive to the motor is abnormal
- The three-phase output of the AC drive is unbalanced when the motor is running
- Abnormality of drive board or IGBT
Solution
1. External Circuit Check
- Check the wiring of the inverter output to the motor terminals.
- Motor star connection, with a multimeter resistance gear to measure the three terminals (U1 and V1, U1 and W1, V1 and W1) resistance resistance value is equal (similar).
- Motor triangle connection, remove the short connector on the terminal block, use a multimeter resistance gear to measure whether the resistance values of U1 and U2,V1 and V2,W1 and W2 are equal (similar).
2. Inverter failure problems
- Remove the inverter output line, run the inverter to measure whether the U.V.W three-phase output voltage is balanced. If it is not balanced, please contact us.
- If the inverter voltage is balanced, connect the tightened motor line and run it, and measure the three-phase output current with a current clamp meter. If the three-phase is not balanced, please us.
